VOICE LESSONS

All experience levels are welcome - including complete beginners.

Voice lessons at Lydian are taught by Nicholas Meyer, Emilie Faiella, Nathan Krishnaswami, Anna Meyer, Katie Erb, Damen Easton, and Eulis Kay. Our instructors are professional working musicians who regularly perform, collaborate, and teach across a wide range of musical settings. You can read more about each teacher here.

Our instructors bring experience across a wide variety of genres and styles, and work with students of all ages - from children and teens to adults and professional musicians. Whether you're discovering your voice for the first time or refining advanced technique, you'll receive thoughtful, individualized instruction grounded in both strong pedagogy and real-world performing experience.

Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual goals, whether they're singing for personal enjoyment, preparing for auditions or performances, improving vocal technique, or developing as a professional artist.

All students at Lydian are invited to participate in our quarterly in-house recitals, which provide a supportive, low-pressure opportunity to perform, build confidence, and share what they've been working on in lessons.

VOCAL HEALTH

Several of our instructors have extensive training in vocal anatomy, physiology, and healthy vocal production. Thoughtful, well-informed voice instruction can help singers and speakers develop efficient coordination, reduce unnecessary strain, and build healthy, sustainable vocal habits.

If you are experiencing vocal fatigue, strain, or minor vocal issues while speaking or singing, our instructors may be able to help. When appropriate, we are also happy to recommend evaluation by a qualified voice specialist or medical professional.
